New to camping? No worries… so is everyone else (who really camps?). This event is for mature adults (no kids or pets). We have couples, single people, newly divorced people, people that don’t want their pictures taken, etc.; come one come all!
Yes. During the checkout section, select the “Partial.ly” payment option. This option will allow you to choose your deposit and flexible payment plan. Any plan that’s in default will be canceled, or they may be a $75 fee to reinstate it (depending on the availability of the product you purchased.) You will receive 3 emails and 3 attempts to make payments before the plan defaults.
Defaulted plans must be reinstated within 1 business day of default, or risk cancellation and no refund/credit. Your ticket, cabin, RV, etc will be put back in inventory, and you may risk not being able to repurchase or reinstate your plan. (in other words, we’ve sent you multiple emails and enough time to show that you still want to attend the event, and we have to move on, as there is a waiting list)

Tickets can only be purchased ahead of the event. The event sells out in advance, so please do not show up expecting to buy a ticket on site (you will be turned around). In addition, guests without the appropriate wristbands will be escorted off the campground, and not allowed to re-enter.
. OVERFLOW PARKING THIS YEAR IS AT 14121 RIVER ROAD (SHANTY TUBES). SHUTTLE BUSES WILL BRING YOU TO THE CAMPGROUND. You will receive a confirmation automatically once you pay. The confirmation will come from, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, WooCommerce and/or Partial.ly. Your name will be on the list electronically/automatically. No tickets, shirts, or parking passes will be mailed. You must present your ID at check-in. Check-in will begin at 8am on Thursday (if you have an early bird ticket) and Friday. Parking will be limited to those purchasing tiny homes, cabins and rv’s. Tipi and tent campers will have to park outside the gate on a first come first serve basis. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND CARPOOLING, AS PARKING WILL BE LIMITED. We will be parking in multiple parking lots and locations, including overflow parking offsite. Check with our staff at the front gate as it relates to parking.
Yes, there are several companies that will deliver an RV to camp for you, and set it up. They typically cost $150 a night to rent.
RV renting tips:

For the summer camp, we float the Guadalupe River or Comal River. Separate charges apply. For fall camp, tubing the river depends on the weather, etc. Texas weather is tricky! You are allowed to bring your own tube (inflated or deflated) or rent a tube. Renting or bringing your own tube will cost the same amount. (We recommend renting a tube as opposed to bringing your own tube) We will have buses located at the campground to transfer people from our location to the tubing company. You will pay the campground for the tubes, and will receive a wristband to get on the bus. This wristband will be used to pick up your tube, and for the return ride from the river back to the campground. Buses will start leaving the campground from 10am until 4pm; the buses will transport guests from the river until 8pm. Our recommendation is to float early (11am), and return early. (truth be told, you’ll want to shower and nap once you’re done!)
There are no refunds. Tickets (general admission) are transferable to other people, other Urban Camp Weekend events, or Urban Events Global events. Transfers and name changes are $65 per ticket. The deadline for all transfers is 45 days before the event. If you purchase/sell a ticket, it’s your responsibility to make sure the $65 fee has been paid, and the ticket is actually transferable. Ticket holders from 2020 need to show proof of emailing us to transfer their ticket(s) before they can use or sell their ticket. If not, it will be viewed as a no-show, as both 2020 events took place.
RV’s, Cabins, previously transferred and/or discounted tickets are non-transferable to other events or people. If you originally bought a transferred ticket, special promo ticket, or won a free ticket, it is non-refundable or transferable to another event or person. Tickets purchased on payment plans that aren’t complete, can not be transferred.
If you purchased a ticket for someone else and forgot to put their name in the notes section during purchase, they MUST check in with you. All transfers are done and confirmed in writing via email to email@example.com.

Tents are set up on a first come first serve basis anywhere that’s not already roped off specifically by UCW. Well over 94% of our guests will be pitching a tent, so the earlier you arrive, the better.
Yes, it’s mother nature, and this is a camping trip. We can not control mother nature. We suggest you dress and pack accordingly.
When you pull into the campground, staff will direct you where to park. You will NOT be able to drive to your spot and unload this year, due to the number of campers. Cars that are not properly parked will be towed at the owner’s expense.
When purchasing group tickets, you are responsible for checking in early and getting the wristbands for the group.
Yes (but contact us first; additional charges will apply) Each guest staying in the RV must be registered and purchase a general admission ticket. We have 30 amp and 50 amp campsites with electricity, water and dumping supplied for every RV or 5th wheel pop-up camper. Again, an RV reservation is for the RV only; each individual must purchase a ticket.
Yes, you can arrive as early as 9 a.m. on Friday morning. If you want to arrive earlier in the week (ie Monday- Wednesday), pay the campground directly. If you’d like to arrive on Thursday, please select the Thursday “early bird” day pass on our site (registration starts at 9am), in addition to your general admission tickets. (You will be escorted off the property if you don’t have the proper wristbands); IF YOU PURCHASED AN RV, CABIN OR TIPI, etc YOUR THURSDAY EARLY BIRD TICKETS WILL ALLOW KEY ACCESS TO YOUR LODGING (a Thursday ticket is still necessary.)

You can, but please bring extension cords so that you can place your generator away from other tents (if it’s loud.) The new campground has plenty of electricity and wifi
Yes (However, it’s very, very, very limited); bring a powerstrip, and maybe someone with a generator will share electricity… Again, it’s camping, you won’t really need it.

The deadline is a moving target, and yes the price will change closer to the event date. Pre-registration has traditionally filled up months in advance, forcing us to raise the registration fee or cut off the registrations entirely.
Based on our recent surveys, we have stopped selling wristbands for meal plans, as we have been inviting food trucks to be vendors at no cost to the food company. The majority of our guests grill or cook on their own, so there’s no reason for us to charge them for the food they haven’t been eating. This allows us to keep the cost of camp down and enjoyable for all. There will be food for purchase via the food trucks, front office, and by various vendors on site. In addition, campers will have access to their vehicles and can come and go to purchase food in the city.

If someone you know (or you) would like to be a vendor at the largest camping event in the country, have them fill out THIS FORM, and we will follow up! THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL FEE TO BE A VENDOR FOR MINORITY-OWNED BUSINESSES (PRIOR TO 45 DAYS BEFORE AN EVENT. WITHIN 45 DAYS OF AN EVENT, VENDOR FEES WILL OCCUR.) We have limited space available, so the earlier the better.

We are charged for every human being that steps foot on the campground; purchase a general admission ticket, and you can choose to stay or come and go as you please throughout the weekend.

Irresponsible or unsafe use of alcohol.
Accessing restricted areas without proper credentials.
Taunting, abusive or offensive language.
Obscene or offensive gestures, including the use of obscene or offensive gestures through imagery or symbolism including banners, signs, and other means of visual propaganda.
Public urination or defecation (outside of a proper and/or public restroom).
Engaging in any action that may harm, endanger, threaten or bring discomfort to anyone.
Damage, destruction, vandalism, or theft of any property.
Participating in any activity that humiliates anyone or insults their human dignity.
Any individual who violates this Code of Conduct may be IMMEDIATELY removed from the campgrounds and have their Wristbands and Camping privileges revoked, without refund. Law enforcement may be notified. We are pushing ourselves and our guests to do better and to be better. We are taking deliberate steps to develop a culture that is safe and inclusive for everyone. Persons of any gender identity or expression, sex, sexual orientation, race, religion, age, or ability are welcome at Urban Camp Weekend. Along with the Code of Conduct, Urban Camp Weekend will NOT tolerate any form of assault or harassment, be it sexual, physical, or verbal. Anyone found to be in violation of this policy is subject to immediate removal from the festival site and law enforcement may be notified. The offender’s access to the event will be permanently revoked and no refund will be issued.
In other words, if a problem is reported to any member of our staff, they have the right to radio the campground officers to escort you off the campground immediately. Period.

All reservations go through us; there is no need to call the campground for anything, as they will redirect you back to us.
Yes, you will be able to fish. Please ensure you have a valid TX state fishing license. In addition, there may be a $10 per day charge for fishing per the campsite.
All packages are non-refundable due to contractual obligations unless travel insurance is purchased. Travel Insurance is available for an additional cost per person. Refunds will not be provided due to a roommate’s cancellation. Trips can be transferred to another person for the existing trip only (request via email). It is your responsibility to find a replacement for your package and provide replacement information via email.
