Cape Town (Afrikaans: Kaapstad; [ˈkɑːpstat], Xhosa: iKapa, Khoekhoe: //Hui !gaeb) is the second-most populous city in South Africa, after Johannesburg, and also the legislative capital of South Africa.
Colloquially named the Mother City,[5] it is the largest city of the Western Cape province[6] and forms part of the City of Cape Town metropolitan municipality. The Parliament of South Africa is situated in Cape Town.[7] The other two capitals are located in Gauteng (Pretoria the executive capital where the Presidency is based) and in the Free State (Bloemfontein the judicial capital where the Supreme Court of Appeal is located).[8] The city is known for its harbour, for its natural setting in the Cape Floristic Region, and for landmarks such as Table Mountain and Cape Point. Cape Town is home to 49% of the Western Cape’s population.[9] The city was named the World Design Capital for 2014 by the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design.[10]
In 2014, Cape Town was named the best place in the world to visit by both The New York Times[11] and The Daily Telegraph.[12] Cape Town has also been a host city for both the 1995 Rugby World Cup and 2010 FIFA World Cup, and annually hosts the Africa leg of the World Rugby 7s.[13]
Located on the shore of Table Bay, Cape Town, as the oldest urban area in the Western Cape, it was developed by the Dutch East India Company (VOC) as a supply station for Dutch ships sailing to East Africa, India, and the Far East. Jan van Riebeeck‘s arrival on 6 April 1652 established the VOC Cape Colony, the first permanent European settlement in South Africa. Cape Town outgrew its original purpose as the first European outpost at the Castle of Good Hope, becoming the economic and cultural hub of the Cape Colony. Until the Witwatersrand Gold Rush and the development of Johannesburg, Cape Town was the largest city in South Africa.

Are there payment plans available?
Yes. During the checkout section, select the down payment option. Pay the downpayment, and fill out this FORM. Your Plan will be emailed to you based on your custom options. This option will allow you to choose your flexible payment plan options (Weekly, Montly,etc.) Any plan that’s in default will be canceled, or you may be a $75 fee to reinstate it (depending on the availability of the product you purchased.) Pay via CashApp to $BlackTravelTube or PayPal to info@urbancampweekend.com and send us an email to info@urbaneventsglobal.com. In the event of a canceled/defaulted plan on an item that has since changed in price (up or down), the NEW PRICE WILL BE ADDED ON THE REOPENED PLAN once you decide to reopen the account. Defaulted plans must be reinstated within 31 business days of default, or risk complete cancellation and no refund/credit.

When is the deadline?
All packages must be paid in full 45 days before the event or pay an additional $150 late fee per person. This event is on a first come first serve basis and may sell out before the actual date. (if you’re on a Partial.ly payment plan, you have nothing to worry about!)
Can I change my package?
Yes, you can adjust your package if you want to add or subtract people or add additional days to your package. Any changes are subject to a $150 change fee.
All packages are non-refundable due to contractual obligations unless travel insurance is purchased. Travel Insurance is available for an additional cost per person. Refunds will not be provided due to a roommate’s cancellation. Trips can be transferred to another person for the existing trip only (request via email). It is your responsibility to find a replacement for your package and provide replacement information via email. We offer flexible partial payments as a courtesy and convenience at a 15% automatic charge to the plan. To purchase Travel Insurance, click here!
Is the flight included?
AIRFARE
Airfare is not included, but you can find cheap flights by clicking here! You will be solely responsible to obtain your flight to and from Cape Town. If you miss your flight, it is your responsibility to reach out to the hotel directly, and Urban Events Global to let us know that you are still arriving, or it will be assumed that you are forfeiting your room. Urban Events Global is not responsible for any changes in flights or cancellations. All deposits and payments are non-refundable due to hotel and transportation contractual obligations unless travel insurance is bought.
What is the nearest airport?
Cape Town International Airport (CPT) is the primary airport serving the city of Cape Town and is the second-busiest airport in South Africa and the third-busiest in Africa.
Can I book separately?
Unfortunately not. Our events are private and will require wristbands which are included in the package automatically.
Is the hotel all-inclusive?
Breakfast will be included as well as all of the events, however, the hotel will not be all-inclusive.
Can I add additional people to my room later?
Yes, and we will adjust your rate. You have until the deadline to make room changes.
What happens if my roommate cancels?
If the roommate you selected cancels, your rate will adjust to the revised (single person)rate or you can replace them. Any cancelations within 60 days of the event are your responsibility, however, we will try our hardest to help you replace them. If Urban Events Global matched you with a roommate, and that roommate cancels, we would try to replace the individual, or we would take responsibility for the cost (your cost will NOT change.)
What happens if there is inclement weather?
It is recommended that you get event insurance that protects against travel and weather issues.
Where will we be staying!?
A 5-star hotel. We provide details on the resort/hotel 45 days before the trip, or once we sell out.

Roommates
Roommates must declare occupancy of single, double, triple or quadruple. If a roommate drops out and is not replaced, the rate will be revised to the proper occupancy or the roommate can be replaced. If Urban Events Global has booked your roommate, we will handle the changes. Reminder: ALL PRICES ARE LISTED PER PERSON
What is the deposit amount at check-in?
There is a mandatory incidental deposit taken at check-in by either credit/debit card or via a cash deposit.
