Welcome to the new and revamped Urban Camp Weekend: UCW Summer Fest! This year, we’re bringing an exciting lineup of activities and events that will make your experience unforgettable. Get ready to savor a diverse array of flavors at our food truck festival, laugh until your sides hurt at our comedy show—where the winner will take home exciting prizes—and engage in meaningful discussions during our mental health panels. Stay active with our invigorating fitness activations, and join us in celebrating Juneteenth with special events that honor this important day. Plus, there’s so much more in store!
While we’ve added new experiences, you can still enjoy the same activities and feel-good environment that have made Urban Camp Weekend a favorite for so many.
Picture you and your friends at a house party or BBQ—now add a tent, some games, food, a DJ, surprise events, additional outdoor recreational activities, and an OPEN BAR, and you’ve envisioned the best festival experience yet. Early sign-up and arrival are strongly encouraged. Due to capacity limitations, prices will increase periodically, so we recommend paying early and arriving on Thursday. See you in June!

Yes, there are several companies that will deliver an RV to camp for you, and set it up. They typically cost +$100 a night to rent.
RV renting tips:
Here are a few of our favorite rental companies (let them know you’ll need a generator and have them fill it with water; we have extra water available for you!):
Your RV reservation is NOT complete until you email info@urbaneventsglobal.com your:
1. RV size (i.e. 36.5 ft)
2. Amp (i.e. 50 amp or 30 amp unless you’re boondocking and using a generator)
3. Estimated arrival date and time (*Thursday Arrival is highly recommended)
4. Rental Company information & Reservation #
*We recommend your RV arrival for Thursday. We won’t charge you extra to have it dropped off early, however, YOU must purchase a Thursday ticket if YOU decide to show up early.
As a reminder, dry camping/boondocking rv’s and 5th wheels will need to provide their own generators and have their water tanks full on delivery.
(this information is needed 6 weeks before the event)
There are no refunds. Tickets (general admission) are transferable to other people, other Urban Camp Weekend events, or Urban Events Global events. Transfers and name changes are $65 per ticket. The deadline for all transfers is 45 days before the event. If you purchase/sell a ticket, it’s your responsibility to make sure the $65 fee has been paid, and the ticket is actually transferable.
RV’s, previously transferred and/or discounted tickets are non-transferable to other events or people. If you originally bought a transferred ticket, special promo ticket, or won a free ticket, it is non-refundable or transferable to another event or person. Tickets purchased on payment plans that aren’t complete, can not be transferred.
If you purchased a ticket for someone else and forgot to put their name in the notes section during purchase, they MUST check in with you. All transfers are done and confirmed in writing via email to info@urbaneventsglobal.com.
Transfer Process:
1. Log in to your PayPal or CashApp account, and send the transfer fee to us; note in the comment section “Transfer ticket to ________(first and last name of the attendee).” Our CashApp is $BlackTravelTube and PayPal info@urbancampweekend.com
2. Email info@urbaneventsglobal.com advising the following:
3. All campers are required to check-in at registration upon arrival to the campground with their ID (check-in starts at 8am). Please bring a copy of the transfer ticket email to ensure the correct names are reflected in the system. Check-in/registration on Thursday and Friday ends at 7:00pm. If you purchased a ticket at the last minute (within a day or two of the event,) we may have to pull you up in a different system. Be prepared to show your mobile receipt just in case.
Tents are set up on a first come first serve basis anywhere that’s not already roped off specifically by UCW. Well over 94% of our guests will be pitching a tent, so the earlier you arrive, the better.
Yes, it’s mother nature, and this is a camping trip. We can not control mother nature. We suggest you dress and pack accordingly.
Registration times are very important. Our registration on Thursday and Friday ENDS at 7:00 PM. Any cars showing up later than those times may have to wait until the next day. In other words, showing up at midnight to 3am in the morning no longer works.
When you pull into the campground, staff will direct you where to park. You will NOT be able to drive to your spot and unload this year, due to the number of campers. Cars that are not properly parked will be towed at the owner’s expense. ONLY THURSDAY ARRIVALS WILL BE ABLE TO “BRIEFLY” UNLOAD NEAR THEIR ACTUAL CAMPING SPOT.
When purchasing group tickets, you are responsible for checking in early and getting the wristbands for the group. For groups of over 20 people, we will offer a 20% discount, however, the payment must be made in full. Email info@urbaneventsglobal.com for payment details.
Yes (but contact us first; additional charges will apply) Each guest staying in the RV must be registered and purchase a general admission ticket. We have dry camping /boondocking, and limited 30 amp and 50 amp campsites with electricity, water and dumping supplied for the RV or 5th wheel pop-up camper. Again, an RV reservation is for the RV only; each individual must purchase a ticket. Also note, the RV hookups currently on sale are for dry camping/boondocking unless otherwise noted. These RV’s will need to have their water tanks full and be prepared to use their own generator.
Yes, you can arrive as early as 9 a.m. on Friday morning. If you want to arrive earlier in the week (ie Monday- Tuesday), pay the campground directly. Wednesday arrivals, Cashapp $BlackTravelTube $20 per person. If you’d like to arrive on Thursday, please select the Thursday “early bird” day pass on our site (registration starts at 9am), in addition to your general admission tickets. (You will be escorted off the property if you don’t have the proper wristbands); IF YOU PURCHASED AN RV, YOUR THURSDAY EARLY BIRD TICKETS WILL ALLOW KEY ACCESS TO YOUR LODGING (a Thursday ticket is still necessary.)
Absolutely!
Absolutely! But do us a favor… SHARE! Why not… if you’re camping next to someone with a generator, “pool your resources!” Ask to plug into theirs, and when they’re out of gas, let them plug into yours… Figure it out and let’s be one unit, literally and figuratively! Now, if you came with NO generator, at least volunteer to make a “gas” run to help them re-up on the petro!
The RV spots with full connections will be posted the month of the event. Priority is given to those who already purchased a dry camping/boondocking spot for an upgrade. As a reminder, dry camping/boondocking rv’s will need to provide their own generators and have their water tanks full on delivery. Other lodging options will be posted as they come available.
More information: Boondocking, also known as dry camping, is the act of camping in an RV or camper without hookups to water, electricity, or sewage facilities. Here are some key points, pros, and cons to consider:
Key Points:
Pros:
Cons:
Overall, boondocking can be a rewarding and unique camping experience, but it requires careful planning and preparation to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip.
Yes, there will be armed security on the premises at all times.
Yes… Everyone needs a general admission ticket.
No. There’s really no need to call the campsite either; simply purchase a ticket online or reach out to us. Tickets can ONLY be purchased at www.UrbanEventsGlobal.com. We don’t sell on any other platform like Eventbrite, Ticket Master, etc…
Thanks. We’re open to giving artists, bands, etc an opportunity to showcase their talent at Urban Camp Weekend. UCW has sold out every camp since its inception. With that being said, we’re not looking to bring on (pay high amounts of money) acts that quite frankly won’t add much in value to the overall event. If we say “no thank you,” don’t take it personally. It’s a business/event decision; our campers enjoy the authentic ambiance of UCW without the pomp and circumstance.
*NEW – UCW tickets are online year-round. Ticket prices will increase on the 1st of each month, leading up to the event. The amount of the increase will be based on the number of tickets left to be sold for the event. We highly recommend paying early by using the payment plan starting at $10 or paying in full to guarantee your spot at the lowest cost. Payment plan fees are detailed on the contract page.
We have various food vendors with food for sale. A lot of campers will bring their own food, grills, etc. In addition, campers will have access to their vehicles and can come and go to purchase food in the city.
Yes. In the event of a cancellation, you will receive an email with your options. ()
If someone you know (or you) would like to be a vendor at the largest camping event in the country, have them fill out THIS FORM, and we will follow up! THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL FEE TO BE A VENDOR FOR MINORITY-OWNED BUSINESSES (PRIOR TO 4 weeks BEFORE AN EVENT. WITHIN 4 WEEKS OF AN EVENT, VENDOR FEES WILL OCCUR.) We have limited space available, so the earlier the better. To have the $500 vendor fee waived, vendors must fulfill two requirements. First, they must post to their social media profiles at least twice a month. Second, they must confirm their attendance for Urban Camp weekend at least four weeks before the event. Failure to meet either of these requirements will result in the vendor fee remaining in effect.
A Few Things to Bring:
This list is a suggested list only. Please bring items as you see fit.
We are charged for every human being that steps foot on the campground; purchase a general admission ticket, and you can choose to stay or come and go as you please throughout the weekend.
21 to 103. (no minors, no pets, no bad attitudes)
Sure… we have an open bar all weekend with free drinks during most of the events… but feel free to bring your drink of choice
Ice will cost approximately $10 per 20lb. bag. Ask one of the staff members for help
